1. DELIVERY METHODS AND TIME FRAMES

We currently use Freight Delivery for all shipments across the contiguous U.S.

  • Handling Time refers to the period we take to process, inspect, and package your order before it leaves our facility.

  • Transit Time refers to the carrier’s travel time once your shipment is dispatched.

  • All delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control.

2. SHIPPING COSTS

  • Flat-Rate Shipping Fee: We charge a flat-rate freight delivery fee of $485 per trailer or equipment unit shipped within the contiguous United States.

  • Coverage: This flat rate includes professional carrier handling, transport, and full insurance coverage during transit to your address.

  • Custom Quotes: Deliveries outside the contiguous U.S. (including Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada) will require a custom quote. Please contact us before placing your order.

3. FREIGHT DELIVERY PROCEDURES

  • Carrier: All shipments are handled by licensed and insured freight carriers specializing in transporting trailers and heavy equipment.

  • Tracking: Once your order ships, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email containing the carrier name, a tracking link, and the delivery contact information.

  • Offloading: Deliveries are standard curbside or flatbed offload. Specialized unloading equipment (e.g., forklift, liftgate) is NOT provided by the carrier. Please ensure you have the necessary arrangements to move the trailer or equipment once it is safely on your property.

4. DELIVERY APPOINTMENTS & SITE ACCESS

  • Scheduling: Our carrier partners will contact you in advance to schedule a firm delivery window (typically 24–48 hours before arrival).

  • Acceptance Requirement: Someone must be available to receive and inspect the order upon arrival.

  • Site Readiness: The delivery site must be accessible for the delivery truck (usually 48–53 ft trailers). The ground area must be level and ready for safe offload.

  • Failed Deliveries: If a delivery attempt fails due to site inaccessibility, no one on-site to receive the order, or incorrect address details, redelivery fees will apply and will be charged to the customer.

5. INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE (MANDATORY)

  • Immediate Inspection: Customers must inspect shipments thoroughly at the time of delivery before signing the carrier’s receipt.

  • Reporting Damage: If you notice any damage, missing items, or incorrect products, you must note this clearly on the carrier’s receipt and email contact@familytrailersllc.com within 48 hours for immediate resolution.

  • We will coordinate immediate resolution or replacement as outlined in our Return Policy.
